Emily, currently heating up the big screen alongside Matt Damon in The Adjustment Bureau, wed John in Italy in July last year, at a ceremony attended by George Clooney and Meryl Streep, and the usually private John opened up on the Ellen DeGeneres show about his “amazing” wife.
“It’s one of those things where, as soon as you meet someone, you know,” the 31-year old actor told Ellen. “I wasn't really looking for a relationship… And then I met her.”
And spilling all the details of their very first meeting, John revealed, “I was so nervous, and I was like, ‘I think I'm going to fall in love with her,’ and as I shook her hand, I went, ‘I like you.’”
Awwww, couldn’t you just die with the adorableness?
But did Emily feel the same instant spark?
“She says she [knew]! So I’m going to take that as a yes,” John said.
