Jihne Mera Dil Lutiya has taken the biggest opening ever for a Punjab film in India. It collects 1.49 Crores in the 1st three days beating the opening of Dharti and Mel Karade Rabba. The opening is monumental as the film has had 100% collections all over in the first three days. If it sustains from here on, Jihne Mera Dil Luteya is set to become the highest grosser of Punjabi Cinema. Just like Mel Karade Rabba, the film is being highly appreciated and looks like Tips Films and Batra Showbiz have another mega winner at the Box Office.

Jihne Mera Dil Luteya is a runaway blockbuster smashing all records for Punjabi films. The first week is likely to finish at around 2.70 crore in Punjab and till date no film has crossed the 2 crore mark in week one.

The daily collections from Punjab for Jihne Mera Dil Luteya are as follows.

Friday - 45 lakhs
Saturday - 46 lakhs
Sunday - 55 lakhs
Monday - 35 lakhs
Tuesday - 33 lakhs
Wednesday - 29 lakhs
Total - 2.43 crore

Jihne Mera Dil Luteya has scored extremely well by collecting around $400,000 from just 45 prints all over the world.

The film has grossed
£23,000 in United Kingdom
$200,000 in North America
$110,000 in Australia.

TIPS Presentation Jihne Mera Dil uteya will emerge the highest grossing Punjabi film ever in just two weeks. It will beat Mel Karade Rabba which was also a TIPS film.

Jihne Mera Dil Luteya grossed 2.75 crore in its first week in Punjab and surrounding areas and the second weekend was 1.20 crore. The drop is just 20% and second week is likely to go over 2 crore which would mean a 4.75 crore two week total while Mel Karade Rabba had a lifetime gross of around 4.50 crore last year.

Jihne Mera Dil Luteya may go on to gross around 7 crore which would mean smashing the record by more than 55%.

It is now sure that the film would become the biggest grosser of Punjabi Cinema beating Mel Karade Rabba and Dil Apna Punjab which collected 10.5 cr and 9.5 cr respectively.
