The successful team behind Jatt and Juliet has started shooting for Jatt and Juliet 2 in Canada today. The whole team has reached Canada and they will be shooting the principle photography in next month and half before coming to India and finishing the Indian leg of the script.
Diljit confirmed with Punjabiportal a few weeks back that he will be starring in the movie and that the successful pair of Neeru and him will indeed be the main lead again. Upon asking if the movie will be a sequel to Jatt & Juliet, he said that they have only carried on the successful title and not the story. The story of Jatt and Juliet is completely different, but yes it’s a romantic comedy.
Neeru Bajwa, the reigning actress in Punjabi cinema was immersed in promoting her movie Pinki Moge Wali from 20th to 25th in Punjab. Right after the promotions she is reaching Canada today for the shoot.
There are speculations that if the production team comes across a better name, they might even change it.
