Investigators drag late chief minister in case

Hyderabad: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has dragged the name of the late chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy in the ongoing wealth case against his son, YSR Congress president and MP Jaganmohan Reddy.

In its First Information Report, the CBI has accused Jaganmohan of conspiring with his father to get benefits for his companies, causing huge losses to the state.

The FIR said Jaganmohan influenced his father who was the chief minister of the state from May 2004 till his death in an air crash in 2009, as well as certain public servants to issue orders that favoured his companies and individuals certain.
