Intex Aqua V2 With 3G Support, Android 4.4.2 KitKat Launched

Intex has launched a new budget Android smartphone called the Aqua V2, pricing it at Rs. 3,090.
The company has listed the Intex Aqua V2 on its website; however, there is no official word yet about the availability of the new smartphone.

The Intex Aqua V2 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box, and comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support. It features a 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz single core Spreadtrum (SC7715) processor alongside 256MB of RAM. It includes 104MB of inbuilt storage th at is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

The smartphone sports a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera with LED flash, while it also houses a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options on the Intex Aqua V2 include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, and 3G. It packs a 1300mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 6-8 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time.

The Aqua V2 also includes sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The handset comes preloaded with some apps such as Intex Zone, Opera mini, Intex Play, OLX, Intex care, and Flipkart among others. The smartphone measures 116.8x60.8x10.6mm, weighs 112 grams and will be available in Black, Brown, and White colours.

Prior to this, Intex launched two budget Android smartphones, the Aqua R3 and Aqua V3, priced at Rs. 2,570 and Rs. 3,260 respectively.

Both the Intex Aqua R3 and Intex Aqua V3 smartphones share a lot of similar specifications such as a 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixels) display; a 2-megapixel rear camera, and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. Both the Android 4.4.2 KitKat-based smartphones come with dual-SIM support.

Notably, the Aqua V3 features 3G connectivity support while the Aqua R3 just supports 2G (EDGE) connectivity.​
