An Indian Sikh woman, who went to Pakistan to attend the Baisakhi festival, has sought extension of her visa after marrying a man in Lahore and embracing Islam, media reports said on Thursday.

She arrived in Pakistan on April 12 with other Sikh pilgrims to attend the festival in Gurdwara Panja Sahib located in Hasan Abdal near Islamabad.

Four days after arriving in Pakistan, on April 16, the woman, went to the Lahore-based Dar-ul-Ulaoom Naeemia where she converted to Islam and was christened Amna Bibi .
Sikhs of Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan held an emergency meeting at Gurdwara Bhai Joga Singh under the aegis of Sikh Sangat Pakistan.

They not only demanded Amna Bibi’s deportation to India but also questioned the silence of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC)

Neither Facebook da siyappa. There are few unanswered questions.
1. How can a hindu lady get visa in sikh quota ?
2. SGPC require recommendation from Local SGPC member which is not there.
3. There an enquiry by police on address in passport after which the visa is sent for processing. Which is also bypassed. The whole episode seems to be managed to stop sikh jathas to have darshan in near future. Another man is also missing.
