Her Dream Role
Sonam Kapoor is scaling the length of the country to promote her upcoming film Aisha, set to release this Friday.
The actress, along with the Aisha gang comprising of Cyrus Sahukar, Ira Dubey, Lisa Haydon, Amrita Puri, Arunoday Singh and producer/sister Rhea Kapoor was in Delhi on Tuesday for the film’s promotion. At the event, she was asked about her dream role.
“I love Mughal-e-Azam. It is one of my favourite films and I would love to play Anarkali's role if and when such a role is offered to me,” Sonam told reporters.
When asked who should play her love Salim, Sonam said: “I think Abhishek Bachchan would look really good as Salim.”
Sonam’s choice to play emperor Akbar is Amitabh Bachchan.
A dream cast for sure, Sonam!
