My heart is filled with heavy sorrow,
And this life I can hardly follow.

My love left me for another,
And now I am hurt, sad, bitter.

Jealousy eats me up like an acid thorn,
And I feel hopeless, beaten, forlorn.

Hurt and hopeless, I cry out my eyes.
Maybe one day new hope will arise …… ​
