Google updates Nexus 5 design, changes speaker grill size and buttons
Google always tries to fix all the problems which its user are facing in Nexus devices or its other services. After fixing the Nexus 5 Camera problem with new Android 4.4.1 Update, the company has now refreshed the stock of Google Nexus 5. According to some XDA Forum members, Google and LG have made little changes to the buttons and the speaker grill size of Nexus 5.
The buttons and volume rocker of the new Google Nexus 5 stocks is now not loose as compared to the previous model. LG has also increased the size of the speaker grill, for providing better sound input and output system.
If you want to know whether you have got the newer model of Nexus 5 or not, then you can check it by looking for the serial number of your device on the box pack. The newer units seem to have S/N starting from 311.
