Google testing a big redesign for Gmail on web
A few weeks back we have seen some leaked screenshots of redesign Gmail for mobile device and now it seems like the web version of Gmail will also get some major updates. According to a recently leaked screenshot by Geek.com, Google is currently testing a big redesign for its web based Gmail.
The new design brings a new slide-in menu on the left-hand side of the inbox, making the important stuffs in the center and keeping everything more clean and easy to use. There is also a big search box on the top and a Pin system, allowing users to highlight their important emails. The hangouts have now gotten a collapsible home on the left hand side of the screen.
Overall, the new design looks impressive and better than the current one. There are currently known details when Google will make this official.
