Google Removes Apps Ops from Android, says it was a mistake

Do you remember the “Apps Ops” feature which was spotted in Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ? Originally it was a hidden feature, but with the help of a third party app users were able to pick and choose what data apps have access to. They were allowed to block the app access for any app they want. But now it seems like this feature has been removed from Android. The users who are currently running Android 4.4.2 KitKat are reporting that this permission management tool has been disabled.

Google says that this feature was implemented in Android 4.3 by mistake, it is yet not ready for users. Which in other words states that it is currently under development process and Google don’t want its users to use any incomplete feature, as it could even generate errors in certain apps. Well, the company has yet not revealed any time frame, when we can see this feature back in Android.
