Google purchases Divide, a device management start-up
Google has recently announced that it is acquiring “Divide,” which is a device management start-up also known as Enterproid. Started four years back, Divide allows users to customize their smartphone for personal and business use.“The company was founded with a simple mission: Give people the best mobile experience at work. As part of the Android team, we’re excited to continue developing solution that our users love,” says Divide.
The team behind Divide will be joining Google to work with the Android team on implementing enterprise level features in Android. As rumored, we are expecting to see some new enterprise features on the next version of Android which is scheduled to arrive this year.
