Google planning to buy Songza Streaming service for $15 million
Google is currently planning to buy the popular music streaming service Songza for around $15 million. The report was made by The New York Postβs unnamed sources, but there is currently no official comment on this topic.
For those who are unaware, Songza is a music streaming service specializes in curation by music experts which has been designed to match the userβs mood. Songza has also got an ad-free version of its service which costs $0.99 per week.
Last September, Songza successfully raised $6.7 million and when it emerged, Google also unveiled its Google Music All Access services. Google is yet to comment on this report, but if it is correct than Songza will really help Google to increase its community in the music industry.
