Scientists say Global Warming is real and that it's accelerating.

Is this the Earth's Future? It's possible... if we do nothing.

(Vast fires can be seenraging across the land.)

- Image above is for dramatic effect. However, smoke Plumes over the US shown above aren't far-fetched.

See below for the images from space of the recent Southern California wildfires for comparison (NASA):

Decide for yourself the validity of these reports from the mostly-corporate media. The satellite imagery, photographic evidence, scientific reports and statements, editorials, essays, hundreds of media articles, as well as the articles describing the intentional policy decisions of the Bush adminstration to make everything worse, are compelling. Take action yourself and get involved.

COMMON EVERY ONE, LET'S HAVE SOME OF YOUR VIEWS ON THIS SUBJECT, HOW CAN WE SAVE OUR PLANET??? remember we'v seen a quarter of our lives, maybe even closer to a half,,, but by the time our children grow up,, they may not see anything,,,,so pitch in with your views plzzzzz

The Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is an amendment to the international treaty on climate change, assigning mandatory emission limitations for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to the signatory nations.

The objective of the protocol is the "stabilization of greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system."
As of December 2006, a total of 169 countries and other governmental entities have ratified the agreement (representing over 61.6% of emissions from Annex I countries).http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_protocol#_note-1 Notable exceptions include the United States (the largest emittor of CO2) & Australia.

Other countries, like India and China, which have ratified the protocol, are not required to reduce carbon emissions under the present agreement.

it's still not too late but the governments across the globe have to gel together and take some firm steps towards improving this current state ...... some countries have already started this ..... IRAN HAS IMPOSED A COMPLETE BAN ON PRODUCTION OF ONLY PETROL CARS ABOUT 3 DAYS AGO AND FROM NOW ON ONLY DUAL FEUL CARS WITH A RELATIVELY CLEAN FEUL OPTION WILL BE PRODUCED IN THAT COUNTRY ........ more such steps are required from other nations as well
