KDDI Corporation has introduced the Windows Phone IS12T, world’s first smartphone to run Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS.
Labeled as the first water- and dust-proof smartphone it is manufactured by Fujitsu Toshiba Mobile Communications Ltd.
Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8655 system-on-chip and features 3.7″ screen with 800*480 resolution and Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi b/g/n and sensors..
Windows Phone 7.5 “Mango” will deliver more than 500 new features, including app multitasking, Internet Explorer 9 with HTML5 support and hardware acceleration, deeper social network integration, built-in voice-to-text and text-to-voice support and so on.
In addition to WP7 smooth UI when compared to conventional smartphones, the device offers the highest quality camera for a smartphone with 13.2 megapixels and 32 GB of internal memory in compact form.
With the update, users will not only read and edit Microsoft Office documents, but also store and share data through Windows Live SkyDrive, a free-of-charge cloud service operated by Microsoft.
