Fruit Salad

- In a bowl, combine the following fruits, chopped into bite-sized pieces:
- 1 pear
- 1 apple
- 1 mango
- 1 papaya
- 1 cup pineapple, fresh or canned
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 cup grapes, halved
- 1 large banana
- 1. In a bowl, combine the following fruits, chopped into bite-sized pieces.
- 2. This should yield about 6 cups of chopped fruit. If you have more or less, adjust the amount of spices below accordingly. You can substitute other fruits as your taste and seasonal availability dictate.
- 3. Add the following spices:
- 2 TBS sugar
- 2 teaspoons chat masala
- 2 teaspoons roasted cumin seeds, finely ground
- 2 teaspoons lime juice
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoon hot red pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
