Fruit Raita

Time Taken : 15-30 mins

500 gm - dahi
1 cup - mixed fruit like grapes, chopped apple, chopped pear, pomegranate seeds (any except banana, chikoo and orange)
1/2 cup - boiled potatoes cubed
1 tsp - cumin roasted and ground
3/4 tsp - red chilly powder
2 tsp - sugar (dissolved in a little water)
salt to taste
3 tsp - chopped coriander leaves
2 tsp - chopped mint leaves


  1. Mix all the ingredients together, except the salt, with 1/2 cup water to make it into pouring consistency.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  3. Add the salt just before you serve this delightful fruit raita.
  4. Ideal for people observing fasts.
