fixed marriage?oh my god!

am just wondering why do some indians agreed to a fix marriage...marriage is supposed to be a lifetime commitment, hence concerned man and woman should be the one to choose whom they are going to marry...let their heart feel the love first, let the man look for their partner and not their parents...

I think the same but in some cases our so called PEOPLE won't let you live
Many of the families they won't let you marry your partner for several reasons from religion/ caste or nationality.
I have heard this term from many people
" LOKI KI KEHaNGE"
