After Cannes, fashion now shifts to the clay courts at Roland Garros, as the players at the French Open are now sporting gear that are inspired by some of the hottest trends on the ramp.

Funky nails and accessories

Just as her uber-cool singer boyfriend Redfoo of LMFAO looking on, Victoria Azarenka seemed to sport a look that was more hip than his. Along with her neon head and wrist bands, she also had multi-coloured nails — that of contrasting colours neon orange and black, giving her a rather edgy look. This funky touch that Victoria added to her look has applauded by many.

Leggings are a rage

Moving away from skirts and dresses, many of the girls have been seen sporting leggings, something that is more comfortable than the skirts they say. Among the many, Venus Willams' look particularly has been discussed by many. While some of them have particularly hailed her pink leggings look as an interesting experiment, others have dismissed this look as something that should be limited only to one's bedroom. Either way, leggings have made the necessary noise.

Tie-n-dye outfits for women

Olga Puchkova seems to be topping the list of the most trendy player at this year's French Open. She recently opted to wear a rather stunning tie-n-dye top, an option that is rather unusual to be worn on the court. But, Olga only seems to have impressed everyone, for she has smartly paired her tie-n-dye top with a monochrome skirt, adding that chic touch to it.

Colour blocking makes it to the tennis court

While most male tennis players aren't really looking at making fashion statements, in a rather subtle but firm way, Guillermo Garcia-Lopez has managed to carry forth a trend that is quite hot on all the ramps in the fashion capitals. His shirt bore subtle colour blocking, which looked rather trendy.

Long socks are back

Bethanie Mattek-Sands sported a rather unusual knee-length pair of socks, which has become a talking point among the fashion critics who have visited Roland Garros, debating the start of a new trend.

Men opt for neon

This season has seen the generous use of neon shades by all the leading fashion designers and high street brands. And taking a cue from this trend is Milos Raonic, who wore a neon t-shirt on the court and accessorised it with matching wristbands, which lent a rather cool touch to appearance.
