Facebook Post By Bengaluru City Police Helps Man Reunite With His Family After 25 Years

Y Jayarama Bhat was found unconscious in the area of Hunumanatha Nagar Police. He was admitted to a private hospital. Police didn’t have much information except his PAN card. Police shared the photo of his PAN card on social media. The post was shared by many.

Ganesh Kambar, a software professional, received the image on WhatsApp and vaguely identified him. He approached the police station and went to the hospital with the police. He identified Y Jayarama Bhat and later informed his younger brother Chandrashekara Bhat, who stays in his village.

When asked how he identified him, Ganesh explained that Jayarama Bhat who works as a tailor, stitched his pants when he passed 10th standard. That stayed in his memory.

Jayarama Bhat who is 7 years elder than Ganesh, went missing 28 years ago. Jayarama was 23 years then.
