Dear UnPians,
We, here, at Unp are obliged to keep United Punjab running for our community. We have been serving the community for almost year and a half now. We all know that keeping UNP online incurs some costs every month and at the time being it is $50 USD/month. And we assume that we all know that we are a Non-Profit Organization. We do not make any money, in any way, from this website.
Lately, we have started some new projects on UNP including the live Radio and we want to start some more projects related to Video & Virtual Chat, etc. For that to happen, we need some more scripts, web space and high traffic servers. And we all know they cost a lot of money. It has made things hard for us. But we are still obliged to keep UNP running.
We just want to know if we should ask people for small donations or so called chip-in’s. Even if people donate $1 a month, it will make life very easy for all of us as we would be able to start new projects for you all and we will try to improve the quality & quantity of the stuff. Every single bit helps. If you like the content on UNP and find it valuable, you can give back a little for the time we have put into this site. But donations are simply donations, and we are only asking for as small as $1 donation every month. But you are under no obligation to make a donation — you can continue reading, using and downloading stuff from UNP.
