Surfing internet for social sites during working hours will land in trouble to not only staff members but also to the judicial officers in all courts of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh now. The Punjab and Haryana High Court, that earlier had issued guidelines its staff now has issues the orders through Registrar General to all the Districts and Sessions Judges to enforce the guidelines with immediate effect. The HC has also warned against disciplinary action those found violating the guidelines.
The decision has been taken following complaints against judicial officer and staff who use to spent more time in surfing the social sites on the internet during working hours thus affecting the works.
