DELL ALIENWARE 13R 15R 17R 2017 UNVEILED AT CES 2017
Dell Alienware 13R 15R 17R 2017 Unveiled at CES 2017 – Dell has refreshed the Alienware series of laptops with some worthy upgrades and showcased it at the CES 2017. Dell has also launched the new Inspiron Series of Laptops with latest GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti and a Dell Latitude 5285 (2 in 1) convertible laptop.
There are 3 Models launched for Alienware, continuing the legacy :
Dell Alienware 13 R3 (13 inch) starts @ $999 or Rs. 67,000.
Dell Alienware 15 R3 (15 inch) starts @ $ 1999 or Rs. 80,000 .
Dell Alienware 17 R4 (17 Inch) starts @ $ 1349 or Rs. 92,000.
Note : Price may vary.
India pricing can be very different compared to US. Currently the lowest price for Alienware (13 inch model) in India is Rs. 100,000. The new laptops are made from Anodized Aluminum and magnesium alloy to reduce weight and improve sturdiness.
There is a bottom door to access to the internals. All three models comes with the Alienware Graphics Amplifier technology which allows users to add an external graphics card.
There is Alienware TactX keyboard in all the 3 models and which comes with 4 – Zone lighting and there is option to customize the lighting effects. The Alienware now comes with improved speaker design with inbuilt AMP. Though the design has not much changed compared to the last year models and still the display has significantly higher bezel.

It comes with 13 inch screen and resolution can be as high as Quad HD with IPS LCD display. The base model will come with 1366*768 display. The Alienware 13R comes with upto 1 TB SSD with PCIE port.
The base version of the laptop will be powered by the Nvidia GTX 1050 with 2 GB GDDR5 while the higher variant can get upto Nvidia GTX 1060 with 6 GB of VRAM. The Laptop come with Intel Kaby Lake Processor ranging from the i5 7300 HQ to the Core i7 7700 HQ.
