CyanogenMod app removed from Google Play

CyanogenMod app removed from Google Play for violating terms of service

Few days back the popular CyanogenMod developer team released their installer app on Google Play Store, the app which allows users to easily install custom CyanogenMod firmware on their Android device with one tap. But Google has recently pulled this app from Play store for violating Google’s Terms of Service.

Google says that it will not allow any app which encourages users to void their warranty by giving access to bootloaders and flashing third party ROMs like CyanogenMod. Google said that if this app was not taken down voluntarily they it would be forced to remove it from Play Store administratively. So, CyanogenMod pulled it down from the play Store. Now those who love CyanogenMod will have to use the previous long process to install it on their device.
