Connect Broadband successfully tested the internet speed of 100 Mbps on copper and 500 Mbps on FTTH network, says a release from the company. The company will roll out these speeds in cities in a phased manner.

The company has copper and fiber network across Punjab covering 100+ towns.
Connect Broadband is also testing technologies such as vectoring with VDSL and G.Fast to offer 300 Mbps on its copper network. According to the company, it is working with assistance from international experts in the field to achieve the desired results. To establish tie-up with international players, the company recently participated in the industry event ‘Broadband World Forum’ held in London, thereby exploring various technologies existing around the world.
“All these developments will help internet users to consume more and more content at the snap of the fingers,” company said.
Attaining a speed of more than 1 Gbps on fiber networks is a feat achieved by service providers like Google, AT&T, Verizon, and British Telecom. Connect Broadband claimed to bring these same technologies to India.
