Recipe Coconut-Pecan Filling and Frosting

1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 stick margarine or butter
4 egg yolks slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 packages 7 oz Bakers Angel Flake Coconut or 2 2/3 cups
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans

In a medium saucepan, mix the milk, sugar, margarine, egg yolks, and vanilla. Cook and stir on medium heat about 12 minutes or until thickened and golden brown. Remove from heat.

Stir in coconut and pecans. Cool to room temperature and of spreading consistency. Makes 4 1/2 cup
