Recipe Chatpati Papri ki Chaat

Ingredients

Plain Flour(Maida) 2 Cup
Samolina (Sooji) 1 Cup
Boiled and cut Potatoes 1Cup
Kabuli Chhana(Chickpeas) 1 Cup
Thick yoghurt 1/2 Cup
Baking Powder a pinch
Sweet Red Tamrind Chutney 1/2 Cup

Green Chillies and Corriander Chutney 1/2 Cup

Red Chillie Powder 1 Sp
Chopped Green Chillie 2 Sp
Chopped Fresh Corriander
Oil for frying

Instructions:

Seive Maida and Sooji and add baking powder and mix well.
Put some oil in the mixture and make a tight dough using luke warm water.
Cover with a wet clothe and leave it for half an hour.
Divide the dough into small balls and flatten them with the help of the rolling pin (like roti).

With the help of any 2cm round shapes cut the above flatten bread into small round shapes. Hint : any sharp edges lid of about 2 cm can be used to make smaller round shapes of the dough)

Cover them with the wet cotton clothe.

After completing all the dough, heat the oil and fry the papris untill pink in colour.

Serving

Add some salt to the yoghurt and Place papri in a plate and pour the youghurt.
Sprinkle some green chutney and sweet tamrind chutney to the plate.
Then add boiled and cut potatoes, some green chillie and corriander.
Last not least sprinkle some salt and red chillie powder according to the taste.
Garnish with corriander and enjoy.
