Book recommendation for Sikhs

If you follow Sikhism or want to be a Sikh, then you need to read, understand and follow Gurbani in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
For that, my best recommendation is "Guru Granth Darpan" by Prof. Sahib Singh. Sahib Singh had vast knowledge about grammar/languages/metaphors/extra-info of Gurbani, which he provided in this book.
Preferably dedicate a fixed amount of time every day to read it.
You don't become a Sikh just by taking "Khande-Baate di Pahul", that is just a ceremony for becoming a part of Khasla. For becoming a Sikh, you have to follow all teachings of Gurbani (of SGGS only).

Thank you :)
