The German car manufacturer BMW has launched its most awaited SUV, BMW X1 in India for an incredibly low price range of Rs. 22 lakh to Rs. 29.9 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi). BMW X1 is the cheapest BMW portfolio car in India.
BMW X1 will be available in 3 variants Cool Elegance, Highline and Corporate Edition in both petrol and diesel engines. The 2.0 litre 1955 cc diesel engine provides 177 Bhp of power while the 1.8 litre, 1955 cc petrol engine provides output of 150 Bhp. BMW X1 is paired with 6 speed manual and automatic transmission gearbox.The BMW X1 could provide mileage of 12 to 14 km/l on Indian roads. With its effective fuel technology it will be a good choice to Indian buyers and furthermore the label of BMW promises its high end performance.
Of course the BMW X1 is a small crossover by normal SUV standards. With key styling cues from its bigger sibling the X5, the X1 canvasses a clean rugged build without any extra kilograms making it dynamical and a great overall package for actual softroader enthusiasts here in India. The famous BMW iDrive is also available in BMW X1.
