Ingredients:
1 cup - wheat flour
1 cup - besan (Bengal gram dal powder)
2 tsp - sesame
2 tsp - jeera
2 tsp - ajwainv 2 tsp - curd
2 tsp - red chilli powder
2 tsp - coriander leaves
pinch of turmeric
salt to taste and oil for frying
Method
1 cup - wheat flour
1 cup - besan (Bengal gram dal powder)
2 tsp - sesame
2 tsp - jeera
2 tsp - ajwainv 2 tsp - curd
2 tsp - red chilli powder
2 tsp - coriander leaves
pinch of turmeric
salt to taste and oil for frying
Method
- Take 1 cup wheat flour, add salt as per your requirement.
- Add 2 tsp oil and enough water to make a dough as you make for chappatis and keep aside.
- Now take 1 cup of besan in a bowl, add seasame, chilli powder, jeera, ajwain, salt, coriander leaves and yogurt.
- Make a dough with very little water.
- Make small puris of the wheat flour dough, stuff with the besan filling and roll into make puris.
- Fry till brown in colour.
- Serve with yogurt or pickle.
- Children will love this puri.
