Recipe Besan Cheela with Tomato

Ingredients: Tomato Puri 1/2 cup
Besan ( Gram Flour) 1 cup
Green Chillie 1 - finely diced.
Fresh Green Coriander - finely chopped 1 tablespoon
Turmeric Powder (Haldi) 2 pinchs
Jeera ( Cumin seeds) 1 teaspoon


Water 1 cup
Salt as per taste.


Instructions: 1. Take a mixing bowl and add all the Besan.
2. Add little water and mix with a spoon or mixer.
3. Once mixed add more water as needed to make sure that the mixture is without any lumps.
4. Now add the Tomatoe puree and mix well.
5. Add the Jeera and salt.
6. Now this batter is ready for cooking.
7. Heat a griddle (tawa) to smoking. Then lower the heat and grease it well with ghee.
8. Put 1/4 cup of batter on it and spread it into a thin even round shape.
9. Sprinkle some chopped coriander on the Cheela ( Pancake).
10. When one side is done turn over the side as well put some oil on the Tawa.
11. Once both sides are done and it is crispy take it off.
