BBM Updated to support Android Gingerbread devices
Back in October 2013, BlackBerry launched its popular Messenger for iOS and Android users and soon after the company announced that the BBM App has added more then 20 million new active users during the first week of the launch. Now it seems like the company wants to add more users to the list.
Today BlackBerry has announced a new update for its BBM App, which adds support for the old Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating System based devices, which is currently on about 21 percent of Android devices around the globe. The company plans to launch an external beta for this update today and the final version will be made available next month.
