He became the first Indian artist to be play listed on national mainstream radio when the album track "Chura Liya" (a re-working of Asha Bhosle's song) was played on the BBC Radio 1
Shahrukh Khan wanted to use Bally Sagoo's remix of Phir Bhi Dil Hain Hindustani for the film. But the film was already ready for release and was not able to be included in the film.
