Are girls more emotional than guys?

couple whom I have known for 3 years recently broke up,
with the girl initiating the seperation,
citing reasons such as lack of attention and busy work timetables.
When asked, she told me that, and I qoute

" it's sad for the both of us, but since i'm a girl is harder for me, so you should feel more sorry for me".

This statement anoys me very much, simply because you're a girl therefore you're more emotional?
Mind you, the seperation was initiated by her.

How many people think that in a seperation, the girl suffers more?

particuarly if she initiated it?

i think that it can go both ways. when a guy really really loves a girl, he

is like very emotional towards her and has strong feelings. same thing

goes for a girl. i guess situation te depend karda ah, saare different hunde ah
