Apple releases iOS 9.0.2 update with bug fixes and improvements, iOS 9.1 beta 3

Apple has released minor iOS 9.0.2 update (Build 13A452) for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, a week after releasing iOS 9.0.1 update and two weeks after releasing major iOS 9.0 update for these devices. The 72.5MB update includes several bug fixes and improvements for these devices that are related to app cellular data usage, iMessage activation, iCloud backup, notifications and Podcasts app. Check out the complete changelog.
iOS 9.0.2 update contains bug fixes and improvements including:

  • Fixes an issue with the setting to turn on or off app cellular data usage
  • Resolves an issue that prevented iMessage activation for some users
  • Resolves an issue where an iCloud backup could be interrupted after starting a manual backup
  • Fixes an issue where the screen could incorrectly rotate when receiving notifications
  • Improves the stability of Podcasts
Apple also released the third beta of iOS 9.1 build 13B5130b for registered developers and the public, a week after releasing iOS 9.1 beta 2. This 209MB update brings three new planet wallpapers and design changes to the shift and delete keys in the keyboard. The final iOS 9.1 update is expected to come along with the iPad Pro in November.
