Apple planning to acquire Beats Audio for $3.2 billion



Apple is reportedly in talks to buy the Beats Audio including its music streaming service named Beats Music and audio hardware division.

Apple is reportedly offering 3.2 billion dollars for the acquiring the audio company started by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine. The company makes premium audio equipments and also started Beats Music in January. Although, Apple has its own music streaming service, Beats Music will also be included in the deal.

If the deal is completed, this would be one of the high-profile acquisition for Apple in the recent years. The company is recently valued at $1 billion after the $500 million investment from Carlyle.​
