We are protesting against Central Monitoring System, which is a surveillance system, being pushed into testing phase by DoT soon. This will violate privacy of the citizens of India. They will be able to intercept all Internet traffic, will be able to study your browsing behavior, will be able to look into anything you post on the Internet & can be used against you in court. They will track anti-government content & possibly will be able to spy on activists, journalists & those who mock government openly. They are on the verge of creating NSA for India. We urge you all to ask the government to stop all the surveillance projects like CMS & rather spend resources on improving the privacy laws.
