Anjuna is a beach that is around 8 kms. west of Mapusa, North Goa. The most basic attraction is Anjuna beach Flea Market, Chapora Fort. The best time to visit this place is from November To March.
The exotic beaches of anjuna is the main source of enduring popularity to a variety of people. Bathing is generally safer than, at most of the nearby resorts, too, especially at the more peaceful southern end, where a rocky headland keeps the sea calm.
The Best Time For Visit :

The visiting season is early November till March. During the X-mas and New Year rush, the area is packed with a large crowd from all over India, who basically come in for big beach parties.
How to Reach There :

Passengers from Mapusa and Panjim drop at various points along the Tarmac Road across the top of the village at the Main Starco's crossroads. The Starco's crossroads has a couple of stores, a motorcycle taxi stand, and a bus stand.
Places Where You Can Stay :

Anjuna beach has a limited accommodation that consists of small houses. There are some resorts and guest houses at the main Starco's crossroads. Calangute, Baga or nearby Vagator or Chapora are the best places for accomodation.
Places Where You Can Eat :

Thera are a lot of places at Anjuna beach with good places to eat and drink. Most are simple semi open aired, palm leafed huts, which specializes in fish and western food. All serve cold beer, invariably with great techno - trance music in the background. On the beach, you will also be approached every five minutes by women selling fruits.
Information :

Money Exchange : There is the facility of encashments against Visa Cards at the Bank Of Baroda on the Mapusa Road but the bank doesn't do foreign exchange.
Post Office :

The post office is situated on the Mapusa Road which is 1-km inland.
