Android 4.4 KitKat Update for Moto G now available for download
It’s a Christmas Gift for Moto G owners, Motorola has released the first major software update for its entry level Moto G smartphone. It is the new Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update, which is now rolling out. It was being expected that Motorola will release the KitKat Update for its Moto G smartphones in the early part of the next year, but it is ahead of the schedule.
As similar to other smartphones, Moto G will now offer a refined KitKat User Experience and Performance Enhancements. Originally Moto G was launched with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Motorola also promised to provide the latest Android updates like other Nexus devices. Now it is fulfilling its promise.
The update is currently rolling out for Moto G owners who purchased it from Motorola’s website and Amazon in the US and other regions and carriers will get the update in the upcoming days or weeks.
