Amitabh to Take Home Rs 2.25 Crore Per Episode For ‘Bigg Boss’
Well, Amitabh Bachchan does come for a price, doesn’t he? And it’s nothing less than a whopping Rs 2.25 crores. Yes, Big B is going to pocket the mentioned amount of money for each episode of Season 3 of ‘Bigg Boss’, where he’s going to play a pop philosopher.
“When Amitabh Bachchan was approached for the show, the channel and the production house expected the payment figures to be big. Negotiations started with Rs 4 crore per episode and ended at about Rs 2.25 crore. The channel decided to invest big money to create maximum buzz,” suggests a source.
It is believed that Bachchan will appear only once a week on ‘Bigg Boss 3’, though it’ll have a total of 84 episodes. Thus, his total earnings are likely to be between Rs 30 crore to Rs 40 crore.
