Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger has formed a new band, Super Heavy, along with singers Dave Stewart, Damian Marley, Joss Stone and Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman.
A source revealed that the newly formed group has already finished their record and shot for their first video, reports nypost.com.
"They just finished a record and their first video and are talking to major labels about a deal. The name for the band at the moment is Super Heavy," the source told the website.
Rahman wrote about collaborating with Jagger on his Facebook post "and Super Heavy is born."
"18 months ago Dave Stewart, Mick Jagger, Damien Marley, Joss Stone and me experimented at a studio in Los Angeles, trying to write songs which had meaning... and presently we have around 16 to 18 songs and all the songs have a world sound by contributions from all of us," Rahman posted on Sunday on his Facebook page.
