Barnala July 7:
Four members of two families were killed when a truck hit two scooters on busy Bajakhana road in the town.
The incident occured when a speeding truck first hit the two scooters and later dashed into a house. Those killed in the accident were identified as Rajwinder Singh (18) and his sister Kushdeep Kaur (19), Ashok Kumar (50) and his son Deepu (18). Residents of the area apprehanded Ranjit Singh, driver of the truck, and handed him over to the police. Police registered a case and started its investigations.
