Terrorist Attack In Langate Army Camp
In the third attack within a month’s time, three militants were reportedly killed by Indian Army on Thursday morning after they had attacked an army camp in Langate of Kupwara district in north Kashmir.
According to reports, the militants opened fire on an army camp at 5 am, to which the security forces retaliated and the three were killed. Army officers have also reported that three infiltration attempts have been foiled by the army along the Line of Control since Wednesday night.
Initial reports suggest the group may have recently infiltrated from across the LoC and could be belonging to the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Two army jawans have been reportedly injured but no casualties have been reported so far and a massive search operation has been called.

Four days ago, a similar attack took place in Baramulla in which one BSF jawan was killed. 19 army personnel were killed in a militant attack in Uri on September 18. There are speculations that such infiltrations will keep on happening in the coming days and the security forces have to be on high alert.
