Smack dab in the center of the 7th District; Vienna’s young, liberal, creative scene is a new eclectic boutique hotel. The 25Hours Hotel Wein
creates a fantastical world of circus, spectacle and extravagance, with just a touch of madness—mirroring the city itself. The neighborhood is a fine tuned mixture of baroque and modern architecture, 25Hours happens to be housed inside a rectangular modern building with a massive glass “green house” on the roof, giving the hotel a grand rooftop bar for it’s patrons.

The 25Hours Hotel Wein is a collective vision of Ardi Goldman the hotel’s visionary, BWM Architekten und Partner, and Armin Fisher who headed up the interior design. This team of creative collaborators explained a little about their approach to the design:

“No matter where you go, all Vienna is a stage. Think Prater, Museumsquartier, Schönbrunn, opera or Life Ball. In a world of show and spectacle, 25hours Hotel Wien is dedicated to the circus. The travelling company brings acrobatics, exotic animals, clowns and music to town and inspires the interior design. Expect a flamboyant and poetic living space with unique ambiance for globetrotters and city hoppers. The design of the house orientates by the prime age of the Circus at the beginning of the 20th century and combines antiques cleverly with Memorabilia from the circus ring. Sawdust meets heavy velvet curtains, concrete meets thick carpets.”

Armin Fisher carefully created a space where the hotel visitors can get lost in the experience of an old world Viennese circus. The design of the hotel builds a spectacular environment starting in the lobby with lion cage partitions separating spaces and overly proportioned circus typography dressing the walls. The experience lives throughout the entire hotel, not a space worth missing!
