Nvidia’s Optimus technology promised the best of both worlds when it was first announced. Automatic switching between a low power graphics processor for typical desktop applications, and a high-end GPU when you load up a game or other graphical intensive application.
Well it seems as though Computex 2010 is the launching ground for many an Optimus-enabled machine. Nvidia is counting 13 laptops and netbooks in its own booth alone, and a total of 20 available to view around the show floor.
Here’s a quick rundown of all the Optimus enabled hardware on display:
