i guess u haven't read it properly

this act already existed
but first ppl jus kept their indian passport even after they became citizen of another country assuming indian passports are automatically are canceled or no need of them anymore

but now..u have to legally turn it in and get a certificate that says ur passports are canceled...

failure to do this will result in fine and or prison


if u still think this isn't "new".. then tell me when was the last time u or someone paid to turn in your passport and get an certificate..and let me know if someone went to prison for not doing this

^^ Well .. yea i din't, it was too much to read so i tried to get overview .. ..

Mainu nai pata .. mera te india da passport aa .. ..
But it sounds fine to return old passport .. and time period is 3 months to do so ..
