In a freak incident a 28-year-old man was killed after a another man working at puncture shop inserted the air pipe and filed air into him through his rectum at Marble circle area in Kota city of the state on Monday morning. The victim was under inebriated condition and was regularly harassing the man working at the puncture shop. The accused was later arrested by the police for the charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
According to the RK Puram police, the man identified as Manish was under inebriated condition on Tuesday morning. He was living on the footpath and used to visit puncture shop every morning and was acquainted with the labours at the puncture shop.
"At 8.15 am when the accused identified as Murari Lal(30) was checking puncture of a tyre tube of a tractor, the victim Manish said that he can also do it. Later, he urged Murari to to give the air pipe with compressor on. When accused identified as Murari Lal(30) did not allow him for it and urged him to leave, the victim punched him twice," said a senior police officer of RK Puram police station.
Later when both entered into a minor scuffle the accused Murari Lal told the victim that he is going to teach him how air is filled and how puncture is found.
"The accused inserted the air pipe into the rectum of the victim with full air pressure through the compressor. Soonafter the victim got fainted and was rushed to the government hospital with swollen abdomen and other body parts. He succumbed to the internal injuries," said an officer.
According to the hospital sources, the cause of the death was yet to be known as the post mortem report will give a clear picture on it. "Prima facie it appears that the excessive air pressure inside the body led to respiratory problems with internal haemorrhage," said a senior police officer.
The accused Murari Lal was arrested for alleged culpable homicide not amounting to murder under section 304 of Indian Penal code (IPC).
