CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government's 'advise' seems to have worked just fine for Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the chief of Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda, who has decided to confine himself to the Dera for the next 69 days. Thereafter, he is expected to hold a satsang on September 7 at Barnava in UP.

Talking to TOI on Sunday, the Dera spokesman confirmed that its chief would not venture out for the next two months, except for appearing before the special CBI court at Ambala on July 5, and the subsequent dates.

The Haryana home department had advised Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh on Saturday against venturing out. Dera spokesman Dr Pawan Insan said though they had received a government communique, the Dera head would stay indoors for around two months.
