Two people were killed and seven others injured after a gas cylinder exploded at Namdev Chowk on the occasion of 'Basant Panchmi' mela in the border town this morning.
Police sources said a balloon vendor was filling gas in the baloons when the cylinder exploded. The injured, most of them in a critical condition have been admitted to the civil hospital here. The Basant Panchmi mela here draws a large number of people every year and it is one of the famous fairs of the region.
