Limiting Threads in New Posts

Can we limit the threads from each sub forum when "New Posts" is clicked?

like, if a user is posting a lot in a single forum and that also in a short duration, then this search of New posts shows only the recent posts, which is actually a single sub forum, so can we limit the items to say 10 or 15 recent ones from each sub forum?

Brother,, hmm nice, if same can be implemented, most of the people post frequently to become Elite/VIP. it will restrict them which will lead to quality threads only.

but it has some drawbacks also.... not an easy decision to take...

A Section can be excluded but cant be limited.
One option is to 'Mark the forum read' from the forum tools drop down. then that section will not show in 'New Post' results.
